Creative toddler halloween costume?
I am looking for a costume that I can put together (not as in something I have to sew, but different parts I can buy) for example: my friend’s son was Mario. She bought red overalls, a hat, moustache and a mini plunger-very creative. Can anyone think of a creative/original costume for my 2 1/2 year old? Ideas from old school things (Like Mario) would be awesome, but I’ll take anything!)
OH sorry! I have a boy.
my cousin (age 7) went as a shark and his younger sister (age 3) went as "shark bait". my aunt just made a cardboard cut out for the fin on the sharks back and put him in blue(or gray) pajamas. for his sister she just put her in a store bought fish costume.
hope this somewhat helped.
you don’t say if a girl or a boy
what about painting your ‘girls’ face white powder her hair and put all white clothes on white leggings and white shoes…
so a gost child.
Last year for my daughter’s first halloween we bought a cheap doll from the dollar store, cut off the head and sewed it onto a jacket that said BABYGIRL… which we turned into BABYGIRL’S using a marker. My daughter was a two-headed baby! haha =]
It was so easy and cheap and only took about twenty minutes altogether. The sewing that is involved is very basic and minimum, all you need is a needle and thread.
I don’t know if you’ll consider this option but it was super easy and everybody loved it.
wrap him in toliet paper (mummy)
There are tons of costume choices at costumes4less.com that are at very affordable prices. Since everything is categorized, I’m sure you’ll find something cute
if its a girl, you can buy like shiny red shoes, and a dress, and a wig, and make her dress up as the girl Dorothy from wizards of oz, and if its a boy, make him dress up as a mummy . dont use toilet paper. at any store where they sell halloween accesories, by "mummy wrap" there. toilet paper doesnt look real.
brobee from yo gabba gabba . they have the costume at walmart for $20!
