Custom Halloween Costumes…?

Hi, I am looking for a site that has custom/ handmade halloween costumes for toddler boys (size 4t) does anyone know of any? I have searched the web all morning looking at different sites that carry halloween costumes (ie.. partycity.com, ebay.com etc..) and I don’t like any of them.. Anyone know of anyone on the web that custom makes or handmakes costumes for toddlers? Thanks in advance!

Why don’t you make one? I made my toddler oscar the grouch in a garbage can for halloween last year. It was my first time and I made it from scratch. It turned out soooo cute! And it meant so much more since I made it for him. Let me know if you need some help…good luck!

I don’t know of any but you could put this post on craigslist. I think I seen something of that nature before. Post it and you will get responses. That’s a fact!

Or you can go to a place like JoAnn Fabrics or Hancock Fabrics and pick out a pattern, have a local seamstress sew it up for you.

You know what I do is, I take something that is off of the rack or from eBay and then buy fabric that makes it individual for my children so, most of it is done and I do minimal sewing for the rest. But at the same time it is individual because no one else will have it.

You probably have a friend or a friend’s mom that sews. I would look for some ideas from ebay and partycity and make it your own. I even look on ladieshomejournal.com, redbook.com, familyfun.com, marthastewart.com, etc… they usually have a halloween custom idea section every september and you can view the previous year’s ideas.

    Good Luck

look for a local seamstress, if you are going to pay for custom you might as well do it face to face and have a costume that really fits your child.
