Have you ever won a costume contest? if so what category?and what were you?and where at?
Last halloween i won "Scariest Costume" at my college. The guy who is the main attraction at this local haunted house was the judge. I was Michael Jackson. *i was making fun of my favorite singer* I went in a orange jump suit,had one white glove,michael jackson wig and hat,a baby doll and a blanket, and hand cuffs. i was "michael jackson straight from jail"

I won a bottle of Malibu for best costume in a bar once… I was a cat.
I dressed my two boys (one short and stocky and the other tall and thin) up as Mario and Luigi two years ago and they each won gift certificates to Toys R us!
YES! for best costume. I won 25.00 and I was at work and they had a halloween dress up contest and I was Minnie Mouse.
We won for the best original couples costume at Cal Tech for the JPL ski club Halloweenie Party. I dressed up as a sumo wrestler complete with the diaper and long braid. But, I think it was my husband’s geisha girl costume that won it for us. We did an intricate hairdo with a cheap black wig, painted his face white and made him up as a beautiful geisha, put a Japanese robe with the sash, little jap flap shoes and socks. He always stayed 3 steps behind me, hidden behind a hand held fan. An academy award winning performance!
I was on the podium 5 years in a row at my former job:
Year 1 – I was a Vulcan named T’Rek – received 1st Overall Costume
Year 2 – I was a scarecrow named Cornelia "Corny" Boocrow – received 3rd Overall Costume
Year 3 – I was Madame Rue, a quack fortune-telling gypsy with a gold-capped tooth & samples of Love Potion # 9 – received 1st Overall Costume
Year 4 – I was WooNelly Hootin, a pregnant hillybilly bride with invites to a hitchin’ or shootin’ of Mo Hollerin (I really was pregnant) – received 1st Overall Costume
Year 5 – I was an ice pixie named Freezia who handed out Pixie Stix – received 2nd Overall Costume
All of those years, you get a ribbon, bag of Hershey’s minitures & a gift card to Wal-Mart!
So much fun!!
i won best costume at my church a few years ago. i was Jason and my hockey mask glowed in the dark.
When I was in elementary school I won in 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 grade as a witch. That was soooo long ago.
