Vampire Makeup That Will Scare People Out of Their Wits
Is it Halloween yet? Man, it is taking forever to get here! I just can’t wait to scare some tiny trick-or-treaters. That is always my favorite part. I can whip out my handy vampire makeup, glue in my fake fangs and pull on my dark cloak.
You should just see how well I actually resemble Dracula. Okay, minus the whole bug eating thing. Anyway, that night full of spooks, strange sounds, and howling monsters sure can be a blast if you do it right. Last year I was able to scare at least a dozen little witches, goblins and ghouls out of their wits. Of course then I gave them a hefty portion of candy to smooth things over. This way they get the full effect of that eerie autumn night that only comes around once each year. They get the trick and the treat. Anyone else up for a little Halloween fun and excitement? That spooky evening is drawing near.
What are you going to be for Halloween this year? Have you tried the new Freddy costumes yet? Or maybe you’re more of a Jason fan. There is certainly something to be said about all that 80s slasher flick propaganda. It seems like we horror movie nuts can’t get enough of it. Why else would we spend our Halloweens prancing around like a cinema serial killer? Personally I tend to go with the same costume every year.
I know what you’re thinking; how boring. Well, when it comes to vampire makeup and a good set of fangs, I just have trouble saying no. Surely there is a costume or character that has this same effect on you. Is it a witch, warlock or werewolf? Or do you like to invent your own monster get-up? Regardless of what you like to be, the best place to shop for supplies is the World-Wide-Web. Where did you think I got my fangs and vampire makeup? The reason I prefer cyberspace is because of the selection.
Compared to Halloween shops and other stores, there is simply no question. I don’t care if you’re searching for mere vampire makeup or an entire King Kong costume, the Internet is the place to look. Not to mention you can do it easily from the privacy of your own home. You can hardly beat that. So if you’re ready to go costume hunting or just need to pick up some fake blood and vampire makeup, hop online and check out the selection. They literally have prices that compete with anyone.

Grim Reaper Costume For A Truly Creepy Halloween
Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year. Usually, I spend weeks and weeks preparing for it. I make the best Halloween costume I can, and I usually get some very positive reactions. Nevertheless, last year there was a change. I was just coming into town the day before Halloween from an extended business trip, and I knew I would have no time to put together a costume. I had to find something that I could assemble quickly but that was still impressive and in the spirit of the holiday. That is why I wore a Grim Reaper Halloween costume.
A Grim Reaper costume is actually a pretty easy thing to assemble. If you want to keep it very basic, you can get by with a cloak with a dark hood and some face paint. Ad a scythe and you’ve gone a bit further. For my Grim Reaper costume, however, I wanted to get a better effect. I wanted to look truly creepy. I decided to shave my head and paint my entire face white with black outlines around my eye sockets and my nose. I painted my hands in a similar style to give a skeleton look to my fingers. It was done in a subtle way – I have a friend who is a great make up artist – so that it wasn’t immediately apparent. At first glance, I looked a little pale and sickly. It was only at second glance when I appeared as if my bones were showing through.
Needless to say, my Grim Reaper costume was a big success. Grim Reaper costumes and other distinctly Halloween outfits usually are. Even if you don’t put that much effort into it, people love to see ghosts and goblins and ghouls of all kinds. I was lucky enough to be the only person in the party I was at with a Grim Reaper costume. I had been to Halloween parties before with three or four different people all dressed up as the Grim Reaper, and I was afraid that that was going to be the deal today. It is nice to be at least somewhat unique, even if your costume is not very original. And thanks to my friend, I had one of the best Grim Reaper costumes there were. Few people take time to get the makeup right, and doing so made me outshine most of the other Grim Reapers who were no doubt were out that night.

This was the beginning of Halloween baskets for us. Now, just so you don’t get the wrong idea, they’re not anything fancy. In fact, their just inexpensive little Halloween baskets stuffed with candy.
This way you give each and every trick-or-treater a variety of sweets. Trust me; the little ones love it. You surely remember what it was like back in the day when you went trick-or-treating. You’d get all fixed up in that perfect costume and head out with candy on the brain. From door to door you were always hoping for the absolute best treats around. You’d might as well stock up on the candy and prepare for hundreds of tiny monsters, goblins, ghouls, witches, werewolves, and vampires. We all know what happens if you don’t offer them something. They could inflict a terrible wrath of destruction on you and your family. Or they could simply whimper and go tell their parents. I’m talking about trick-or-treators here; not real demons. Although I did read that the treats were originally given out as some sort of offering in the hopes of being spared any harm. Hmm, that’s interesting indeed.
