I’m looking for a munchkin costume like from the wizard of oz for my baby. I have been able to find a lot of munchkin costumes for older children and adults, but not for babies.

My son who is almost 3 used to be a very agreeable child. Now he objects to every routine. I picked a costume character that is is one of his favorites and introduced him to the costume last night. He wants nothing to do with it and had a screaming tantrum when we put it on. We have several ideas for how to get him to "warm up" to the costume but I thought it would be interesting to hear what others have to say.

Here is what I did.
I put the costume on every night for 2 days leading up to Halloween and he protested every night and ripped off his hat. I hung the costume on his closet door so he could get used to seeing it and he did talk to me about it. On Halloween morning I woke him up wearing a silly hat on my head. He started to think that was fun and then later he put on my silly hat. We usually don’t let him have candy but I will admit I totally bribed him with candy on Halloween eve. I gave him some resee peices and told him that if he wanted some more he would have to put his hat on. He left the room to go looking for his hat, put it on and got a good attitude quickly! One "fun size" bag of resee peices went a long way! Then he forgot he was wearing a costume and just went out to play. When his little friend came over and we started trick-or-treating he was then totally having a good time but I don’t think he cared about the costume.

I am 8 weeks pregnant I am not showing so I can pretty much be anything, we want to have a couples costume so can you help us and tell us what we should be something totally original….I am not offended by sex costumes either just nothing to provocative just a little cleavage if anything and thats it haha….10 points for the best! thanks!!!!

When you were a child what was your favorite Halloween costume ? I was always a ghost.

I’ve got a 2 year old Halloween costume that my child wore only once. I thought of Ebay, to get rid of it. Any parents out there knows what a pileup and waste of all these old one-time worn costumes can amount to. Although I was an avid fan, is it too early to try and make a few bucks from the sale of it? My child doesn’t want to be Steve for Halloween, and I don’t want to be disrespectful about his recent untimely passing? I also think this would be some form of tribute to him, what are some opinions?

My Mom dressed me as a Barber Pole in the 4th grade. It is the most creative costume I ever wore, and it won a contest.

Financially, we had to wait until last minute for our son’s halloween costume. We have been all over town, and nothing. Either all of the good stuff is gone or there is nothing left in his size. Time to get creative!! Since I can’t sew…we were thinking Mummy, with guaze. Can someone instruct me how to do this? Any cute ideas? We wanted to make it dingy looking as well but how do we do that? Anything??

I need ideas on a halloween costume for an adult female..a.k.a me!
I decided I would dress as barbie but I don’t have a blond wig and can’t get one on this short a notice. (h-ween is next week). I am invited to an adult party and need to dress to impress. If I stick with barbie I will have extreme pink eyeshadow and blush on cheeks and wear some type of dress with heels. I just won’t have the blond hair. Any ideas on how to pass as barbie? (I don’t own many short dresses and none that are pink/red) If not barbie, then I want to be something feminine without being slutty and no princess/fairies. If it helps I am older than 20 but younger than 30 and around a size 4. Thanks peeps!
P.S.- I don’t have a car and live in the city so I can’t get places easily.(walmart is a 1 hr. train ride-yikes)I work and go to school so it’ll be hard for me to shop for anything especially since I want to wear a costume that’s purely home made to save money and time and MONEY! Thanks people, you are awesome for helping.
Oh and I definetly don;t want to be some other doll..its either barbie or that’s it because she is the most well known doll of our times ever. Also I don’t like Bratz, because they are geared for younger girls and are known to look "slutty" in my opinion. Basically I hate bratz but thanks for the idea! (too cartoony and weird)

An Elmo mask which covers the face is preferred over the Elmo face hats.

We LOVE Halloween. For the past 4 years, he has entered a costume contest in our neighborhood. He won first place when he was a scarecrow, dracula, a robot (that I made him) and came runner up when he was a pirate. However, this year, we are stumped as to what he should be.

I work at a children’s bookstore and need a good costume. any ideas and ways to inexpensively implement them?

Last year it was 65 degrees here on Halloween night, but this year it is estimated to be around 40 degrees during trick or treat hours.

My daughter is in size 2T, so her costumes are size 2T/3T, but if I put a coat under them they don’t fit. They just aren’t wide enough.

I went back to the store to look at the 4T/5T ones, and they are far too long. I live in the midwest so the little kid costumes in this area should accommodate to our weather!

A friend told me to try Old Navy since they sell warmer costumes, but our local store and online only seem to have the same 3 boy costumes left.

Ideas?

I’m mostly talking about teens, young adults and older women.kids usually have adorable costumes but older girls like to wear sexy costumes that make them look like streetwalkers and it’s rare to see a lot of women wearing scary costumes, but guys seems to be the most creative in their costumes?! why? what do you think? explain. also, is your halloween considered cute, sexy or scary? thanks.

My son is 16 months and hates all hats. Can anyone recommend a Halloween costume for a boy size 18 months – 2t that does not have a hood, hat, or anything that goes on the head? I really do not want it to look cheap.

I made a deal with my hubby last year that he’d be able to pick our 2.5yo’s costume this year since I chose an adorable kangaroo costume last year. He was planning on a monster/ghoul type of costume, but our son picked Batman (The Dark Knight) out of a costume catalog instead and is set on it. I’m relieved
So my husband is going to be the Joker & I’m going for Harley Quinn with a TDK spin as long as I’m able to make the costume.

My family is having a costume party this year AND it will be my husband and my first year as a married couple. We want to do a fun couple costume. Something original. We love music (I’m a singer he plays guitar) and watching movies of all kinds. He’s tall and I am short if that helps. We’re willing to do any sort of costumes creepy, scary, funny, cute. Just nothing to risque because it’s a family party and there will be young kids & my parents there lol Thanks in advance!

Well, just to eliminate some possibilities, I’m a 13 year old girl, so no inappropriate stuff. Also, no "punny" costumes, no scary costumes(I’m trick-or-treating with my 5 year old cousin) and no "toddler cute" costumes. I’m not that girly, but not a tomboy.

I have a pair of fairy wings, that I could use, but that was an overused accessory last year. But I wouldn’t mind if it were cleverly used.

Also, I don’t want anything fancy and complicated, just enough to be classified as a Halloween costume.
