Vampire Makeup That Will Scare People Out of Their Wits
Is it Halloween yet? Man, it is taking forever to get here! I just can’t wait to scare some tiny trick-or-treaters. That is always my favorite part. I can whip out my handy vampire makeup, glue in my fake fangs and pull on my dark cloak.
You should just see how well I actually resemble Dracula. Okay, minus the whole bug eating thing. Anyway, that night full of spooks, strange sounds, and howling monsters sure can be a blast if you do it right. Last year I was able to scare at least a dozen little witches, goblins and ghouls out of their wits. Of course then I gave them a hefty portion of candy to smooth things over. This way they get the full effect of that eerie autumn night that only comes around once each year. They get the trick and the treat. Anyone else up for a little Halloween fun and excitement? That spooky evening is drawing near.
What are you going to be for Halloween this year? Have you tried the new Freddy costumes yet? Or maybe you’re more of a Jason fan. There is certainly something to be said about all that 80s slasher flick propaganda. It seems like we horror movie nuts can’t get enough of it. Why else would we spend our Halloweens prancing around like a cinema serial killer? Personally I tend to go with the same costume every year.
I know what you’re thinking; how boring. Well, when it comes to vampire makeup and a good set of fangs, I just have trouble saying no. Surely there is a costume or character that has this same effect on you. Is it a witch, warlock or werewolf? Or do you like to invent your own monster get-up? Regardless of what you like to be, the best place to shop for supplies is the World-Wide-Web. Where did you think I got my fangs and vampire makeup? The reason I prefer cyberspace is because of the selection.
Compared to Halloween shops and other stores, there is simply no question. I don’t care if you’re searching for mere vampire makeup or an entire King Kong costume, the Internet is the place to look. Not to mention you can do it easily from the privacy of your own home. You can hardly beat that. So if you’re ready to go costume hunting or just need to pick up some fake blood and vampire makeup, hop online and check out the selection. They literally have prices that compete with anyone.

Beauty And The Beast Costume This Halloween?
Only about a week or so left until the day when all bets are off. Who’s ready for the ghosts, goblins and spooks to emerge from the darkness? I know I am. This is the best day of the year if you ask me. Frolicking through the neighborhood in search of treats! What in the world is better than that?
Okay, so I don’t exactly carry around a sack, but I take my daughter to dozens of doorsteps. Believe it or not, it’s actually more fun than when I trick-or-treated as a child. You want to know what else? One of the greatest aspects of this holiday is the attire. Just take a moment this Halloween to check out all the wonderful costumes. I’ll bet you see everything from a werewolf, to Leatherface, to a dog, to a dragon, to a Beauty and the Beast costume. The variety is priceless. Sort of like with the candy.
About two years back, I was shopping in the local mall with my daughter. We were in dire search of a great costume for Halloween. As we entered the Disney Store, she spotted a Beauty and the Beast costume. This was it. I’m talking golden moment here. She loved the character of Belle. I can’t remember how many times she had viewed this film, but it was probably a few more than I can count. In short, she wanted that Beauty and the Beast costume so she too could be Belle for a night. I was all over the idea.
What father doesn’t want to see their daughter become a princess? Once we arrived home with the sparkly attire, my little girl couldn’t wait to put it on. Little did I know, this Beauty and the Beast costume would be worn and tested many times before Halloween ever even arrived. For all you new parents out there, this basically goes with the territory. Kids love their costumes and they wear them as often as possible, before and even after Halloween night has past.
Any costume that you may be in the market for can be accessed from your PC. Take a trip through net-land and see what get-ups would best suit you or your little one. As always, you should try to pinpoint your costume a while before Halloween is actually here. This increases the chances of finding your size by a great deal. You can even pick up a Beauty and the Beast costume on the World-Wide-Web.
Scary versus Non-Scary Halloween Costumes. Your thoughts.?
I see a lot of comments about how people aren’t wearing traditional scary costumes anymore. I’m curious about this because when I was a kid in the seventies, there were plenty of kids wearing both scary and non-scary costumes, everything from princesses to star wars to superheroes, etc. mixed in with classic halloween figures like vampires, werewolves, ghosts, and witches, etc.
So I’m a little confused about the "what ever happened to Halloween" comments, unless you happened to have grown up in a previous decade when it might have been a standard, or in a place/country where people dressed exclusively in scary costumes. I understand that some people like to keep with the traditional idea of Halloween, where you are supposed to be blending in with the spooks. Just wondering where and when people grew up that unscary costumes were not common.
Please share your opinions about why you prefer scary or non-scary costumes or like both.
